The press can be configured with unwind and rewind modules with single or double station units and fully automatic reel change, without the operator’s intervention.

Mounted on solid bedplates, ensuring a rigid and vibration-free assembly. Printing units can be supplied with a fixed inking system on the printing unit or throught exchangeable trolleys with the entire inking system and transport of the engraved cylinder. This exchangeable trolley system achieves a drastic reduction in job changes. Optionally, trolleys for the application of hot-melt, cold seal, solvent-based and solvent-free adhesives for in-line laminating can be included.

The doctor blade unit has an adjustable system in height, advance and inclination with respect to the engraved cylinder, allowing to position any working angle. The new head is easy to handle and changes of the blade and the counter blade is very quick, without the need of any tools.

By using independent asynchronous servo-motors in each printing unit, we achieve high registration precision and a drastic reduction in material waste during the start-up of the printing press.

Depending on the required travel and flow rates in each printing module, three types of drying screens can be supplied (ST-1, PR and SPR). In their new design, all parameters have been carefully controlled to achieve efficient performance. Drying screens are mounted on high-travel guides with pneumatic opening to facilitate Access to the interior and material path rollers. Drying screen system has a series of flaps for recirculation and control for solvent concentration in the air, which can be manually operated or automatically controlled upon request.

Sleeve type, allowing the sleeve change without losing the tension of the web. Pressure regulation is pneumatic and individual for each of the ends of the nip roller.

For double-side printing on the web, there are several machine configuration options available. Printing modules can be set up for either face-to-back or back-to-back printing mode, or a web turning bar system can be installed.

Equipped with the most advanced technology, they allow for a very precise web tension control throughout the entire production process. The standard web tension ranges from 30 to 350 N., with an optional range of up to 600 N.

Centralized management from an industrial PC and touch screen, general monitoring of the status of all the elements of the press, management of all press parameters, storage of all job parameters, display of current alarm messages and a historical record of the last 500 alarms.
